Election manifestos of Sajith and Gota in mid-October

The two main contenders of the Presidential election are scheduled to release their election manifestos, a published declaration of their policies, by mid-October.

Minister Eran Wickremaratne who is in charge of the preparation of Democratic National Front (DNF) candidate Sajith Premadasa manifesto said his policy document was now in a draft state.

It will run through the political leadership of the UNP and the coalition partners before being released.
